….The Mother of Invention Regional Conference is open to all inventors and will cover a number of critical phases in the inventing process. The conference could save novice and seasoned inventors tens of thousands of dollars in unnecessary expenses. The convention is presented by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, The Inventors Roundtable™ and the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center.
The morning will begin with breakfast and a presentation by Jim Lauter, inventor of The Balance Rider, a revolutionary device that offers radical improvement of balance, proprioceptor efficiency, and core strength – with the added bonus of providing completely natural pain relief.
Jim has always been fascinated by both the physiology of the human body and cutting edge technology. Pursuing this passion, Jim earned a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Colorado. Over the years, Jim has become an expert in the fields of proprioceptor exercise and core training. Married to a lifetime horsewoman, Jim conceived the idea for The Balance Rider to specifically target–from a unique seated position–the core muscles and proprioceptors that are so vital to physical fitness. “Balance,” Jim says, “is not always recognized as an essential component of fitness. But the simple fact is that every form of physical activity — even just walking, sitting upright or getting in and out of a chair–is critically-dependent on good balance.” Jim has been successfully selling The Balance Rider in the Equestrian Industry and is currently raising a round of funding to allow manufacturing and selling to a broader audience. Come and hear Jim’s story regarding his successes and learning curve.
During lunch we’ll be treated to an open panel discussion on some of the newer sources of alternative financing. Ray Burrasca, Founder and Primary Organizer of Colorado Crowdfunding, the nation’s third largest crowdfunding organization, will moderate the panel, joined by other representatives of the alternative finance industry.
Attendees may attend up to four of the twelve training sessions. You will learn how to develop, protect and market your invention. In addition to these basics, the focus this year will be on rapid prototyping, presented by Doug collins, President and Founder of AVID Designs. Doug will have his rapid prototype machine working all day to demo the value and variety of rapid prototyping process.
Come and learn from people who have the answers that you need. The presentation topics and information offered will be especially valuable to individual and small business inventors. You won’t get this real world “nuts-and-bolts” advice from any college, university, or other organization. This seminar is geared specifically toward educating inventors and entrepreneurs developing ideas and/or inventions.
