I am a solo entrepreneur and I’ve had my product, The A.N.T., on the market for a little over a year. Making contact with people who may have an interest in my product has been challenging. I can identify them, but actually getting an answered email or phone call has been incredibly difficult and frustrating. Being the sole driving force behind my company has come with a set of challenges common in entrepreneurship. If I lean more into sales, social media marketing, manufacturing refinement, or other backend business improvements, focusing on any one thing comes with reduced attention to the others. But, it’s a struggle I must endure and overcome to get to the point where the company can afford to pay people for each of those roles. I’m regularly considering how much less stress I’d have with a regular job and relegating my dream back to a side hustle even though I feel that it will continue to require my full attention for prosperity.
